The HHG Group, through its Corporate Social Responsibility, which is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, is continuously supporting the Greek society, offering free healthcare services in remote areas of the country, as well as training and awareness-raising of the value of prevention to citizens of all ages.

In this context, for more than 10 years, the Hellenic Healthcare Group's clinics have been implementing the “We Travel for Health” program of YGEIA Hospital and the “Prevention” program of the Metropolitan Hospital and Metropolitan General. These are practical medical aid campaigns, involving clinical and diagnostic tests for local populations.

In the spring of 2024, with the aim of further upgrading the medical services provided, the HHG hospitals joined forces and merged these two programs, creating the Project “Pantou”, which includes an organized plan of annual activities to meet the needs of residents in areas that do not have easy access to health services.

Next to people, all around Greece

Volunteer teams, consisting of doctors, nurses, administrative and technical staff, visit areas far from urban centers, and within a few days, set up “hospital outpatient clinics” in specially designed areas, offering safe and comfortable medical examinations to residents.

Each mission provides numerous patients with access to a variety of medical specialties, including: pathologists, cardiologists, general surgeons, pulmonologists, neurologists, plastic surgeons, ENT doctors, breast specialists, orthopedics doctors, ophthalmologists and paediatricians. Diagnostic tests are also carried out, such as: body ultrasounds, heart triplex, cardiograms, spirometry, pap tests and various blood tests.

To this day, 30 volunteer campaigns have been carried out, more than 13,607 residents have been examined, and over 48,779 medical and diagnostic tests have been conducted in the following areas: Lipsi-Agathonisi, Achilleio-Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechaina-Varda, Papades-Agia Anna Evia, Gravia-Delphi, Rovies-Mantoudi Evia, Dimitsana Arcadia, Ypati-Pavliani, Konitsa, Tzia, Agios Dimitrios-Pothi Evia, Stymphalia-Feneos of Mountainous Corinthia, Stropanes-Metochi Evia, Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavryta, Kalambaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea Agrafa, Kasos, Astypalaia, Sifnos, and Vonitsa.
